MazFest Driver Rules

If you are wondering about driver rules and regulations for the upcoming MazFest event on August 16th at Willow Springs International Raceway’s Streets of Willow, please see below information.  Safety is our top priority at all times, and ensuring that all Mazda track vehicles meet the following criteria helps to ensure that all participants have a great experience.

Any Mazda can attend the track event portion of MazFest as long as your vehicle meets basic safety as outline in the tech inspection form.

• Convertibles must have roll protection.
• Factory roll protection is permitted for 2006 + Miatas.
• Closed toed shoes are a must.
• Cotton shorts and T-shirts are allowed for participants driving street cars.
• Race cars and/or gutted track prepped cars require long sleeve shirts and pants.
• All drivers must wear a helmet (snell 2005 or better) and we have rental helmets available.
• Cars that are not using OEM seat belts must be equipped with the proper harness roll over protection.
• Any Mazda street car is fine as long as above regulations are met.
